Langmeil Church has 5 Pillars of Ministry that we are currently focussing on:
Each pillar holds significance in the progress of our church. As Ministry Development Co-ordinator, it is my role to identify where the needs of our church are, how they are being met, and where our ministry focus should be.
With the help of these 5 pillars, I am working towards three key objectives for this year:
- To encourage and strengthen discipleship, mentoring and study of God’s word – see Reason for God study series, WYLD Life Junior Youth.
- To equip and support families and individuals with resources and strategies to extend faith practices beyond worship services – faith formation workshops and resources.
- To support meaningful intergenerational worship initiatives – such as Messy Church and FUEL.
My role is very broad and there are many key objectives I would like to work on. By focussing on these three initially, we are well on the way to making our church community more inviting and supportive of the needs of the people. We aim to invite a culture of identity and purpose in our members, and open up the possibilities for future growth, learning and outreach to others.
By prayer and by faith, we strive toward the goal of “joyfully bringing God’s love, peace and healing to all”.
